– domestic trade regulation with special focus on FMCG, major industries (in particular, metallurgy and engineering), recycling and housing and communal services.

Professional Experience

Before joining Kesarev Consulting Mikhail had worked at Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade. He was responsible for domestic trade regulation issues: wholesale and retail trade development, consumer market situation, services and public catering, etc.

Mr. Polushin has vast experience in elaborating and preparing state sectorial conceptions, programmes, industrial and trade policy projects as well as personnel issues within different economic sectors.

Mikhail also is experienced in interacting with MPs and RF Civic Chamber members on preparing analytics on social sphere development issues, recycling and housing and communal services.

Background

Mikhail graduated in Management in Industry and Energy Sector from the State University of Management. He also took an MBA degree at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.

Additionally, Mikhail has finished courses on trade policy, legal and trade aspects of WTO membership, regulatory impact assessment and IP-rights protection.

Mr. Polushin is the author of over ten studies on industrial policy issues.
