Professional Experience

Prior to joining Kesarev Consulting, Mr. Ordzhonikidze had been four years a Managing Partner at a major international government relations firm Cassidy & Associates CIS.

Mr. Ordzhonikidze’s primary practice during preceding eight years had been in public law and administrative practice and procedure in trade and internal economic regulations. His clients included: Russian Federal Government, Moscow Government, Philip Morris, Bema Gold, NTV+, RAO UES and many others.

Petr was a consultant of the Federal Government during Russia WTO negotiations.

Petr’s experience also includes: work as a senior lawyer at MacLeod Dixon LLP international law firm in Moscow; legal adviser with a major Russian commercial bank, investment company and oil and gas business.

Mr. Ordzhonikidze has been actively involved in advising on corporate and commercial issues. He advised clients on joint venture structure for successful trading, mining and oil&gas activities. This also involved structuring project financing, assessing legal and political implications, issuing legal opinions, corporate restructuring, meetings, negotiations with Russian state officials, international and domestic financial institutions and companies, etc.

Background: Petr graduated in law from the Moscow State Law Academy and continued his post-graduate studies at TMC Asser Institute in The Hague.
